Today we pause to honor the remarkable life of Charles James Kirk, known to us all as Charlie. We remember him as a man of deep faith whose vision, courage, and perseverance left an enduring impact on our nation and the world. His story is forever woven into the fabric of the American way because he chose to shape the national debate not only by sharing his faith, but by delivering an empowering message of opportunity, freedom, and individual responsibility.

As the founder and president of Turning Point USA, Charlie devoted his life to equipping young people with the timeless principles of liberty, free markets, and limited government. What began as a bold idea in his teenage years grew into one of the most influential grassroots organizations in America, inspiring a new generation to stand up, speak out, and defend the values that built this great country.

Charlie was not only a builder of organizations, he was a builder of people. Through his books, speeches, radio show, and podcast, he reached millions, giving voice to truth in an age when it was too often silenced. His passion for America’s founding ideals, and his unshakable courage in defending them, made him a trusted leader and a beacon for the conservative movement.

Though Charlie is no longer with us, his legacy endures in the principles he championed, the hope he inspired, and the path he helped to clear for those who follow. His life reminds us that one person, living with conviction and courage, can change the course of history.

Let us honor his memory not only with words, but with action by carrying forward the values he held dear: faith, freedom, justice, and the belief that America is strongest when her people stand united in purpose.

As we pray for his family, may his life continue to inspire us, and may we prove worthy of the inheritance he has left behind.
