MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - On DAY ONE as your Texas House District 16 Representative, I will fight to put an end to the games played in the Texas House by the "Uniparty," which has betrayed Republican voters and squandered our hard-earned majority in the Texas House for the last decade.
As your House District 16 Representative, I will work hard to achieve the following initiatives:
SECURE OUR BORDER and all points of entry into Texas.
SAFEGUARD WOMEN AND CHILDREN by ensuring private spaces for them, keeping males out of female sports, and prohibiting gender ideology and grooming in all forms.
DEFEND INNOCENT LIFE from conception until natural death.
IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES by promoting competition among schooling options, giving parents full control over their children’s education, and supporting educators by bringing discipline and common sense back into the classroom.
REQUIRE VOTER APPROVAL FOR TAXPAYER-FUNDED LOBBYING to respect Texans' First Amendment right of redress of their government.
ELIMINATE PROPERTY TAXES to create true home ownership for Texans. Stimulate economic activity by eliminating franchise taxes and business personal property taxes.
IDENTIFY AND VIGOROUSLY RESIST UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL OVERREACH that usurps the power vested in our state, and infringes upon liberty and the pursuit of happiness of the people.
LIMIT AND CLEARLY DEFINE EXECUTIVE "EMERGENCY POWERS" so that those powers are not abused.
STRENGTHEN ELECTION INTEGRITY by stopping non-citizens from voting in our elections and by increasing penalties for anyone convicted of voter fraud.
UPDATE, STABILIZE, AND SECURE THE TEXAS ENERGY GRID.
PROHIBIT HOSTILE GOVERNMENTS FROM PURCHASING TEXAS LANDS.
PROMOTE TEXAS EXCEPTIONALISM BY ELIMINATING DEI and instituting a merit-based system in all aspects of government at every level.
PROTECT THE CIVIL LIBERTIES OF ALL TEXANS by ending warrantless searches of any kind and discontinuing civil asset forfeiture.
TAKE CARE OF OUR VETERANS and ensure that they have the support they need.
INTRODUCE LEGISLATION FOR A SPEEDY RECALL PROCESS for elected officials who betray their constituents.
FIGHT CASINO GAMBLING to protect citizens from crime and diminished economic prosperity.
Unite, Lead, & Deliver on Legislative Priorities
Republicans must unite in the House if we are to lead our state and deliver on the Republican Legislative Priorities. Our constituents demand this, and they deserve representation. In Austin, I will champion accountability to ensure our priorities are achieved.
Representatives who betray the Republican Caucus and allow Democrats to run the Texas House put all of our Texas GOP Legislative Priorities in jeopardy. If elected, I will advocate for the expulsion of any Republican House member who votes with the Democrats against the Republican Caucus nominee for Speaker of the House.
I will also push for the House Republican Caucus and Republican Party of Texas to immediately issue a joint press release exposing the names of expelled members, followed by an email and texting campaign to the voters in the House Districts of the defectors, letting them know that their Representative is not acting as their voice in the Texas House.
True Representatives will stand with the Republican Caucus to strengthen our shared vision for Texas. We owe it to Texans to follow through on principles of limited government and maximum liberty for every citizen. I am resolved to do just that.
